As I made yet another trip to Valdosta through Albany and Sylvester, I realize just how lucky I was when I made my ill-advised trip to the farm back in January. Places I once stopped for gas are gone, warehouses missing, and trees telling of the powerful forces I must have been ahead of in January.
So here it is some five months later and cleanup efforts are still in full swing. This kind of reminds me of how we try to 'fix up' our life on our own. It is a task that has no end. But, give yourself over to God as we admit our sins, admit we are sinners, and accept Jesus, the storm damage of sin in us is gone. Fixed. Cleaned up and made new.
This week I want you to reach out to someone you do not know and tell them of the Good News of Jesus. Invite that person or family to come and see, and to grow with us in Jesus.
